TESTIMONIALS - I first joined Nenagh CTC in March 2022. When I joined I was just gone 17. I had dropped out of school and never thought I was going to achieve anything. I always dreamed of getting qualified to work with kids, but as I hated school and left half way through 5th year LCA, I never imagined I would be able to do that. When I first joined, I was young immature and full of trouble, but all the teachers were so patient with me. I was going through a rough time in my life and was taking it all out on people around me. But still the staff were so patient and understanding with me. They kept pushing me to come into the centre, to try to get my life back on track, and I honestly don’t think I could have done it without all the support I got from them. Next week is my last week here and in September I’m starting the level 5 course in Early Learning and Care, in Nenagh College.
Not only has the centre helped me get closer to achieving my dream, they have also given me time to mature, grow and learn. I’ve learned a lot about myself being here. I have made friends I will have for life and I’ve pushed myself to live and get the life I deserve.
