The start of our green flag initiative. 5 Part of the level 4 work experience module - mock interview skills. Preparing our learners for their next journey into education or employment. Mock interviews help boost confidence, help reduce stress & anxiety and practice makes perfect 🙂 6 As part of our " Journey with Nenagh CTC Completion Programme" Theresa getting ready for the next journey, well done. 7 Our @National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) funded library project coming together very well and nearly there. All at #NenaghCTC excited about this new addition to our centre. 9 Cian Powell, former learner from Nenagh CTC now working as a first year apprentice carpenter. Part of our direct links to employer programmes. 10 Congratulations to Kaley, our first graduate from VTCT / iTEC Certificate in Barbering, well done 😃 11 Thank you Denise for all your hard work and support. Denise is leaving us after her 4-month student placement, we will miss you. Our student reps Sarah & Culann presented Denise with a beautiful bouquet of flowers to show their appreciation. 12 Delighted to be a part of the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) Winter Edition of "Literacy Matters". 13 All the learners and team completing their Manual Handling Training in Nenagh CTC. Thank you Mary Corkery Training. 14 Aine completing her assessment in VTCT Health & Safety client consultation and Gents Haircut. Well done Aine, Great Job! 15 Our completed art project "Rising with the flames of the Phoenix - Continuing our learning journey in the pandemic” Well done to all the team and the learners, a fantastic job done by the whole centre! 16 QQI Level 3 Woodwork project going in for certification. Well done Katie, an amazing piece. 17 Here at Nenagh CTC we want to encourage creativity and productivity. Creating an outdoor creative space has been very important to us all and input plus involvement from the learners has been essential. We can all benefit from the outdoor creative space and having the learners be a part of that process brings a sense of accomplishment and pride. 18 Our learner rep Becky successfully completed her VTCT Diploma in Hair & Beauty, exciting times ahead 😀 Well done Becky! Looking forward to starting her Hairdressing Apprenticeship L6. 19 Our revamped Beauty Salon 'Blossoms' VTCT @itec. world Diploma in Beauty. Our new salon was created to look and feel like a working salon within the hair & beauty sector. Fully equipped to train and learn all of the modules including makeup application, manicures, pedicures, salon reception skills and following health & safety practice in the salon. Incredible work done by all. 20 Our new barbering salon 'Twin Blades' A fantastic addition to our centre and programme to complete VTCT @itec. world Certificate in Barbering. |
