This qualification will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to advise and consult with men on the type of haircut and facial hair shaping the way they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. You will also learn how to work in a safe manner throughout the service protecting both yourself and your clients. PROGRESSION This qualification will prepare you for employment as a junior unisex hairdresser. Nenagh Community Training Centre is another option of education for 16-21-year olds. We offer a space to give young people the best opportunity to shape their own future in a safe, engaging and proactive environment. We provide an opportunity to attain recognised QQI Level 3, 4 and VTCT/ITEC Certificate and Diploma qualifications, working at their own pace and with the assistance of supportive professional Tutors, team members and management. We have an extensive list of programmes which include: Catering & Hospitality, Introduction to Woodcraft & Home improvement skills. Certificate in Barbering, Diploma in Hair & beauty. We foster the development of the ‘whole person’ through academic accreditation and training in life skills, in readiness for employment or further education, through our progression and work placement programmes.
